Sudo ln -s /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX10.16. 2- opened Launcher, held Option key (to make the icons jiggle) and clicked the x on xcode's corner asked me if i want to delete the app and i confirmed but magically it stayed and when i opened it it was updated to the latest version so basically it was done installing just didn't know it. Sudo ln -s /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX11.0.sdk Sudo ln -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/atform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk Sudo mkdir /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs Open Xcode, Preferences > Locations > Locations > Command Line Tools and select Xcode (Only one entry in here for me, but it wasn't selected initially)įinally: sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer Try at your own risk, especially if you use Xcode for dev workįirst: sudo rm -rf /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs This is not advice or a guide, I only have a rough idea of what this does. I've also checked I can use git, but I don't think that was an issue for me before. If Rosetta is already installed, you are not asked to install it again. If you click Not Now, you will be asked again the next time you open an app that needs Rosetta. Click Install, then enter your user name and password to allow installation to proceed. Not sure which steps are required, or if this is the best order, but here's what I did to fix homebrew. You're asked to install Rosetta the first time you open an app that needs Rosetta.
